INCIDENTS DURING RACE:
Illusion lost there rudder on the second leg. Feral was warned and was warned to keep clear.

NAME OF RACE AND SERIES:
Fixed Mark Tropical Series

DESCRIPTION OF COURSE:
Start was to windward to the port markers and then a great easy reach to Nelly Bay. After a pursuit start the yachts closed together particularly Boadicea, Come by Chance and Farrago. Feral went wide and had a free run to the mark. Despite catastrophe on Illusions they appeared calm and under control. Must have been some good seamanship! A windward leg up the channel and then a lovely shy kite run back and then a few quiet beers. What a day!

RACE WINNER AND TIME:
1st MACH 1 corrected time 1:33:40, 2nd FERAL corrected time 1:36:28, 3rd TEDDY BEARS PICNIC corrected time 1:38:12 

COMMENT FROM WINNER:
It was a great race with a breeze MACH 1 loved, a course with good wind and fairly flat seas. We had a ball, one or two lively moments, but mostly everything went well for once.

COMMENT ON WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Moderate to fresh East north easterly breeze the strongest of the season so far.
